Timber Stairs

Valley Log & Timber designs and cuts quality timber stairs from your choice of woods. Stairs are often the focal point of your timber frame home. Your stairs should be functional as well as beautiful, and compliment the design of your home.

We have the ability to fabricate timber stairs with our CNC Timber Machine to compliment your customers’ log home or timber frame home. Typically, our design is an open-riser system from 4 x 12 stringers and treads using Yellow Pine or Douglas Fir. We can also supply you with balustrades including newel posts from 8” round, 6 x 6 or 8 x 8 posts. We offer stair systems with timber frame or post and beam joinery.

Whether it be a straight run, L-shaped, U-shaped or even T-shaped, Valley Log & Timbers’ staff is there for you to design and fabricate a stair system that will be a “wow” for you and everyone that visits your home.

At this time, we at Valley Log & Timber are designing our own style of circular stairs which is one of the “trickiest” type of stairs to build.
